As Finance Manager, you will be responsible for managingthe finance and compliance functions of the Nigeria country programmeand the Abuja office.
From managing the programme’s management and donor reporting, tosupporting and developing the financial capacity of your staff and ourpartners, you’ll work proactively to lead the Finance team in meetingour internal and external reporting requirements. And we’ll expect youto use your understanding of all that involves, developing the skillsand abilities of your staff and our partners, and to quickly identifyand resolve potential issues at the earliest stage.You will be an IFAC-qualified accountant with strong backgroundknowledge of financial principles and practices; considerableexperience in financial management and budgeting; management of auditsand familiarity with local government regulations and procedures. Youwill have considerable experience in working for not-for-profitorganisations. You will have a demonstrated capacity to manage largeinstitutional funded grants and possess skills in budget preparation,analysis and training, consolidated financial reporting andpresentation. Experience of capacity building work of nationalorganisations is desirable.
A natural communicator and leader with excellent analytical skills,you will have a strong, positive attitude and the ability to manage awide range of issues.
