ORGANIZATION/DESCRIPTION: FINANCIAL SERVICES INDUSTRY
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
In conjunction with the other Executive committee members, determine the long-term strategic objectives of the business.
Ensure business growth through directing and managing business operations activities and ensure these are delivered in accordance with the organizational strategy.
Plan, direct and manage the performance of the company’s operations, as dictated by the overall strategy agreed by the Executive committee
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
Understanding & Experience of Insurance claims management
Sound project management skills
Sound knowledge of operations, administration and IT
Strong analytical skills
Management & Leadership knowledge & experience Organizational Skills
Ability to work collaboratively
A “hands-on” management style
A penchant for being proactiveHighly creative and resilient, able to work in a high pressured environment.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of Bachelor’s degree in a relevant fieldA professional qualification in a relevant filed is also desirable.
EXPERIENCE:
Minimum of 10 years of work experience, particularly in a related field
Minimum of 5 years experience in operational management
Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a senior management role
Experience and proven track record in managing multi disciplinary teams
Excellent people management track record – ample evidence of people development, coaching and mentoring and diversity management capabilities
