Our client provides a broad spectrum of civil and structural engineering consulting services which include the design and construction of roads, bridges, and civil works oil drilling locations.The company is a multi-disciplinary engineering contractor with a number of Federal ministries and agencies, state government and heavy civil engineering projects throughout the country.As a result of expansion in the activities of this company we now have ''VACANCIES'' for career minded Civil Engineers, to join our existing project team.

CIVIL & STRUCTURAL ENGINEERS:
JOB DESCRIPTION:

Performing engineering duties in planning, designing of infrastructure facilities, such as roads, bridges, harbours, channels, and so on.
OTHER TYPICAL FUNCTION AND ACTIVITIES INCLUDE:

Responsible for designing, constructing, maintaining structures that are safe and up to codeProgramming, Monitoring and Reporting worksWorks progress reportingConstructing resources planning and ordering Executing of works comprising mainly of earthworks, concreting, and asphalting sometimes wet swamp Materials quantity control and variance check
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:

BSC,or HND, Msc in civil engineering with practical experience in civil engineering designs and construction with minimum of 4 years post NYSC cognate experience;

Working knowledge of surveying will be an added advantage;

Ability to read, understand and interpret engineering drawings, architectural drafting and design and develop finer in accordance with the set guidelines;

Must be familiar with AUTOCAD,

Knowledge of other civil engineering software would be an added advantage;

Professional qualification is an added advantage;

Proficiency in any civil/structural Engineering designs software is an added advantage;

Proficiency in the use of Microsoft packages,and so on.

LOCATION: PORT-HARCOURT

SALARY: Attractive remuneration packages, though negotiable
